The ANE Symposium will be hosting the second annual Community Group Workshop in conjunction with the Symposium. We listened to you last year and know there is need for continued discussion on how the Airports and FAA can best work with Communities.

This year we are excited to welcome the newly appointed Community Involvement Manager for Airspace Projects at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Julie Marks. This is a recently established position in the FAA’s Air Traffic Organization (ATO) to facilitate a more cohesive and coordinated approach to community involvement and decision-making associated for airspace projects.

Julie will be sharing her role priorities, explaining how community groups can best interact with the FAA and ATO, and answering questions you have related to the big picture.

At the 2017 Community Group Workshop, we heard how important communication is. We are looking forward to bringing in speakers who can help develop better communication and show the best path for interacting with the Airports and FAA.
